Announcing… Celebrating Brit Shalom event on May 1st

On Sunday, May 1st, 2016, I’ll be giving a book talk about Celebrating Brit Shalom, the first-ever book of ceremonies for Jewish families opting out of circumcision. After the discussion and a brief Q & A period, we’ll be presenting the four songs that were composed to accompany the new ceremonies. My son Reuben Moss, who wrote the music, will be performing, along with singers from the Temple Sinai community.

The event is free, and will be held in at 1 p.m. in Albers Chapel at Temple Sinai, 2808 Summit Street in Oakland. To reserve free childcare, contact Danielle at Hope to see you there — thank you!

P.S. I’ll be bringing along my diorama of a brit shalom (covenant of peace) ceremony in miniature — come see! 20151102_121504_001

Lisa! I’m so happy for you, and, so curious. Would it be ok for me to come? Lynne Bosche
